HGV Technician

Hire Desk Agent
As a Hire Desk Agent, you’ll be the friendly, professional face of Salford Van Hire — assisting customers with bookings, quotes and vehicle returns both in person and over the phone. You’ll coordinate with the operations and workshop teams to ensure smooth vehicle availability and provide accurate, timely information to clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
C1 Driver
As a C1 Driver at Salford Van Hire, you’ll be representing one of the UK’s most trusted names in vehicle rental. Your main role is to move vehicles between our depots and customer sites safely and efficiently. You’ll perform basic checks before and after each journey, keep the vans in good condition, and ensure all paperwork is accurate. We’re looking for reliable drivers with a positive attitude and good customer service, you’ll often be the face of our company on the road. A valid C1 licence and a professional approach are a must.
