Approved submissions appear on our live UK map and count towards the prize draws.

SVH Spotted – Rules
To keep SVH Spotted fun, fair and safe for everyone, please read the rules below before submitting.
1. What you can submit
- Any Salford Van Hire branded car, van or HGV
- Vehicles may be photographed anywhere in the UK
- Each valid submission counts as one entry
2. Safety first
- Photos must be taken safely and legally
- Do not take photos while driving
- Do not distract or interfere with road users or vehicles
3. Privacy matters
- Drivers or members of the public must not be visible or identifiable in the submitted image
- If faces, reflections or sensitive details appear, you’ll be asked to blur them before submitting
- Vehicle registration plates are permitted
- House numbers, addresses or other private details must be obscured, cropped out or erased when uploading
4. Image guidelines
- Images must be clear, genuine and unedited (except for privacy blurring done on our website when you upload)
- No offensive, misleading or inappropriate content
- No screenshots, stock images or images taken from social media
5. Self-spotted submissions
- Customers may submit a self-spotted entry when hiring an SVH vehicle
- Self-spotted entries are eligible for the Self-Spotted prize only and will not enter the general prize draw
6. Prizes & winners
- Furthest Spotted is calculated using straight-line distance from Salford Van Hire’s Manchester Depot. If there are multiple entries, prize may be split.
- Random Draw winners are selected at random from all valid submissions using digital automated draw
- Prizes are non-transferable and subject to verification
- SVH’s decision is final
7. Moderation
- All submissions are reviewed before appearing on the map
- Salford Van Hire reserves the right to remove any submission that does not meet these rules
8. Location display
- Locations are displayed at city level only
- Exact locations are not shown publicly
9. Use of submissions
- By submitting, you grant Salford Van Hire permission to use your image for promotional purposes
- Personal details will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
